Jesse Walden, a photographer for Central Florida’s Spectrum News 13, is expected to continue his recovery at home, according to WFTV.

Walden was shot on Feb. 22 while he was on assignment with reporter Dylan Lyons. The pair was covering an earlier shooting that had claimed the life of 38-year-old Nathacha Augustin when a gunman, identified as 19-year-old Keith Moses, opened fire, killing Lyons and injuring Walden, officials said.

Hours earlier, Moses had shot and killed Augustin, according to investigators. He later killed 9-year-old T’yonna Majors and injured her mother in a separate shooting at their home, authorities said.

Orange County Sheriff John Mina said authorities found Moses later on Feb. 22 with a still-hot gun. He faces three counts of murder in connection with the deaths of Augustin, Lyons and T’yonna.

It remained unclear Tuesday what prompted the gunfire. Last week, Orange County Sheriff John Mina said Moses went into T’yonna’s home for “unknown reasons.” Augustin was shot after a man identified as Moses’ cousin told deputies that he picked the 19-year-old up while Moses was walking down a road in Orange County, WFTV reported. Augustin was a passenger in the car and did not appear to have known Moses before he shot her, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by the news station.

In addition to murder charges, Mina said Tuesday that Moses will also face attempted murder charges in the shootings of Walden and T’yonna’s mother.
