PUYALLUP, Wash. — Police in Puyallup, Washington, are searching for a gunman who they said shot and killed a barber as he was cutting a child’s hair Wednesday evening.
KIRO reported that the incident happened around 5 p.m. at JQ Barber on East Stewart Street.
Witnesses said the gunman entered the barber shop, went to the employee’s booth and shot him several times before the suspect ran from the store.

Police say the barber who died was the owner of this shop. We’re told he was 43. @KIRO7Seattle just spoke to someone who knew the victim. He told us the victim took pride in his business and welcomed people into his shop. Police say they think this COULD BE a targeted shooting. pic.twitter.com/AbbNKCQybX
