MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Westy’s served their annual Thanksgiving Day Thursday for the 18th year in a row.

The well-known restaurant Downtown is located at 346 N. Main St., in the Pinch District near the Pyramid.

The annual meal giveaway provides free food to the homeless, hungry and anyone in need of food for the holiday.

The event is sponsored by Lindenwood Christian Church and Operation BBQ Relief.

By last year’s event, the restaurant said nearly 30,000 meals had been served.

Meals are served to-go and were served from 9 a.m. to noon.

The local restaurant and bar regularly offers lunchtime through late-night dining in a relaxed atmosphere, as well as Downtown delivery.
