MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was shot and killed at a Raleigh apartment complex.
“It’s scary, and it’s basically near my door,” one resident said.
At approximately 9:15 a.m., Memphis Police responded to a shooting on Summit Arbors Circle, at The Summit Apartments complex, right outside Bartlett.
When officers arrived, they found a man shot.
Officers are on the scene of a shooting at 2810 Summit Arbors Circle. One male shooting victim was located and pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Police also said, that one man has been detained.
Residents, shaken by the news and fearful of showing their faces on-camera because of possible safety repercussions, said they’ve had issues with crime at the apartments before.
“It’s bad. Who do you have, to protect around here”, a resident said.
One woman said her neighbor’s car has been broken into multiple times.
Another woman said one day she found a bullet lodged in her windshield after supposedly someone fired a shot into the air.
This is still an ongoing investigation.
