Ja Raffe, giraffe named after Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant, moving to Utah Zoo

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Ja Raffe, a baby giraffe named after NBA player Ja Morant, has joined Utah’s Hogle Zoo from Memphis.

Raffe stands at nearly 10 feet tall and is only 1.5 years old.

The baby giraffe will be quarantined for the next 30 days, a press release said.
