Temperatures drop in the Mid-South as fall settles in

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Nice and quiet night after a warm but decent Sunday.

Temperatures will become much more comfortable over the next few days as we see them trending below average.

Expect Gold Star weather days ahead with plenty of sunshine, highs eventually in the mid-70s and lows in the mid to low 50s, bringing some into the upper 40s overnight.

The only area of concern for us right now will be in the tropics as Ian moves closer to the Gulf of Mexico. The further west this storm tracks, the bigger impact we will see here in the Mid-South directly.
