Free meals available for SCS students in quarantine

SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — Shelby County Schools is providing free meals for students in quarantine as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

Beginning Sept. 20, students in quarantine can receive one breakfast and one lunch each day during the quarantine period, according to a release from SCS.

Meals will be available from 9-9:30 a.m. at the child’s assigned school.

According to SCS, meals will be distributed through a touchless drive-thru process for safety.
