DESOTO COUNTY, Miss. — A former DeSoto County Schools employee is facing charges of child exploitation, the Sheriff’s Office there confirmed Tuesday.
Jacob Lollar was arrested Nov. 23, nine days after the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Data System.
On the morning of Nov. 23, investigators executed a search warrant on Jacob Lollar, who was arrested for three counts of distributing, receiving and possessing child exploitation material.
Evidence collected in Lollar’s arrest included three iPhones and two laptops, records show.
In a statement Monday, DeSoto County Schools said Lollar is no longer an employee there.
