MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A fire destroyed the interior of a local restaurant in the Parkway Village area early Tuesday morning, and Memphis Fire Department (MFD) suspect arson is involved.

Thirty firefighters responded to the call about flames inside Taste Addicts, located at 4276 American Way, around 3:30 a.m.

No injuries were reported.

Memphis Police also helped direct traffic at the location.

The building had no smoke alarms, MFD determined, and estimated the total cost of fire damage at $400,000.

FOX13 NEWS photos of the restaurant taken after the fire was extinguished show the restaurant’s dining area, including the front window, destroyed.

Ruined dining tables and chairs, and other debris were scattered in the parking lot.
