$100k donation to Agape Child and Family Services will help victims of domestic violence

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Valero recently donated $100,000 to Agape Child and Family Services.

The money will help support the non-profit’s Families in Transition program.

This donation will provide a safe place to call home for women fleeing domestic violence situations.

Agape is using the funds to focus on the immediate needs of women, including fully furnished apartments, education, job training, and more.

“The underserved community, providing a safe place for a child to lay their head, for a mom to have her children, a safe place for them,” said Sherry Mackey, the Marketing and Communications Director for Agape. “You’re talking about providing food for a child, clothes for a child. That’s where that money will go.”
